TERESA NIEDERHAUSERN

Pilates Instructor
Teresa has always gravitated towards movement, whether through dance, running or hiking. She is a native of Utah, where she graduated from Utah State University in Dance performance. She has taught dance at the University, as well as in the community. She was first introduced to Pilates at a dance workshop in Park City Utah. After taking just one class she was hooked and knew this would be her life path. Teresa then moved to Seattle to receive her Pilates training and beame an Authentic Certified Pilates Instructor in 2002. Teresa received her certification under the direction of Master Instructor Romana Kryzanowska at Pilates Seattle International. While training, she volunteered teaching at the Gilda House (support center for cancer patients) and worked as a physical therapist aide.

Teresa taught Pilates for three years in Seattle, then ventured to Oxford England to teach for the summer. While abroad she attended the Romana’s Pilates International Convention in Paris where she had the opportunity to work with inspiring teachers from around the world. She then returned to Seattle to teach for another two years. Her experience with clients has varied from those receiving rehabilitation to the hardcore athletes. Over the years of teaching, Teresa has seen her clients' bodies transform, become pain free, develop better body awareness and gain more self confidence.

In her time away from teaching Teresa enjoys most outdoor activities. Teresa loves teaching Pilates and helping her clients achieve their goals in a fun and positive way.
