The primary emphasis of Brett's work is Orthopedic Massage, however he has studied and practiced extensively in Sports, Swedish, and Clinical Deep Tissue Massage. Restoring function, structural integration, and healing are the primary objectives of his practice. Assisting clients with chronic issues, rehabilitation from surgery or injuries, and maximizing athletic performance are a major focus of his practice. Having a background as a competitive athlete and working with both elite and recreational athletes has given him great experience and insight into the common areas and patterns of tension, pain, and discomfort.
Brett feels very fortunate to have been selected to work and travel with several Olympians, World and National Champion athletes. During the 2005 season, he was employed as a Massage Therapist for the San Francisco Giants and at the SAP Pro Tennis Tournament in San Jose, California. He will continue his involvement with both the tennis tournament and professional cycling teams in 2006.
